Como por ejemplo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>La conductura manejaba a exceso de velocidad la tarde del martes, d\u00eda marcado por evento de lluvia marcado.\u00a0<strong>Esto<\/strong>\u00a0caus\u00f3 que perdiera el control del volante e impactara la valla de seguridad.<\/p><p>The driver was speeding Tuesday evening, which was a very rainy day.\u00a0<strong>This<\/strong> caused her to lose control of the wheel and impact the guard rail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Como lectora, el \u201cesto\u201d o \u201cthis\u201d no me deja saber si fue la velocidad, la lluvia, o la combinaci\u00f3n de ambos factores lo que caus\u00f3 el accidente. \u00bfFue el error humano o el efecto ambiente?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo se arregla? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tienes dos opciones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Convierte el pronombre en un art\u00edculo acompa\u00f1ado por un sujeto: \u201cEsta acci\u00f3n,\u201d \u201cEstos factores.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The driver was speeding Tuesday evening, a very rainy day.<strong>&nbsp;This action made her\u2026 (This + sujeto)<\/strong><\/p><p>The driver was speeding Tuesday evening, a very rainy day.<strong>&nbsp;These factors made her\u2026 (This en plural + sujeto)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>2. No uses \u201cthis\u201d como pronombre y usa en su lugar el sujeto en el que est\u00e1s pensando: \u201cSu comportamiento irresponsable\u2026,\u201d \u201cLa carretera mojada\u2026,\u201d \u201cLa combinaci\u00f3n de\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The driver was speeding Tuesday evening, a very rainy day.&nbsp;<strong>Her irresponsible action\u2026 (sujeto: el exceso de velocidad)<\/strong><\/p><p>The driver was speeding Tuesday evening, a very rainy day.&nbsp;<strong>The wet pavement caused her to\u2026 (sujeto: el clima)<\/strong><\/p><p>The driver was speeding Tuesday evening, a very rainy day.&nbsp;<strong>The combination of speed and rain caused her to<\/strong>\u2026&nbsp;<strong>(sujetos: la velocidad + la lluvia)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bfDime si estas oraciones no son m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles de entender?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este error parece simple pero es BIEN serio porque se da en research papers. El uso de \u201cthis\u201d opaca las relaciones entre las variables de estudio e impide que el lector interprete los resultados correctamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un \u00abhack\u00bb f\u00e1cil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Te invito a que en tu pr\u00f3ximo ensayo o manuscrito acad\u00e9mico, hagas una b\u00fasqueda (CTRL+F) y verifiques cada uso de \u201cthis\u201d antes de presionar el bot\u00f3n de imprimir o enviar.
